Vertical Farming

Vertical farming is a high-yield, controlled environment farming system that manages all aspects of the production of many varieties of fresh produce using hi-tech lighting and other control systems. Vertical farms produce high quality, nutrient rich and tasty organic produce in very high volumes year round to serve local populations.

Example: Lettuce production

A traditional land farm produces an average of 46 pounds of lettuce per acre per day.A greenhouse can produce an average of 500 pounds of lettuce per acre per day.The Agriponics Vertical Farming system can produce up to 20,000 pounds of lettuce per acre per day, using organic seeds & fertilizer without herbicides or pesticides. The produce is harvested & delivered locally the same day, ripe & fresh.
